Accounting

With all the reliability and devotion to duty that characterizes all DPC’s services, the Accounting Department is responsible for gathering, organizing and analyzing the data, transactions and reports of its clients, in accordance with international and local accounting principles.

This department is subdivided into sections and provides precise and transparent information to assist the management of its client companies in their decision making processes, in a dynamic manner that is tailored to each one’s needs.

The Accounting Department’s responsibilities Include:

• Preparation and analysis of financial statements, adjusted to meet international accounting standards.

• SPED Contábil (Public System for Digital Accounting Bookkeeping).

• DIPJ (Corporate Income Tax Return), DCTF (Statement of Federal Tax Liabilities and Credits), FCONT (Transitory Fiscal and Accounting Control) and other accessory obligations of Secretariat of the Federal Revenue of Brazil.

• Processes for the refunding and offsetting of federal taxes.

• Recording and handling of transactions for the entry of foreign investment capital into Brazil, through the Central Bank’s RDE-IED system, as well as the preparation of financial statements, including the declaration of property and rights held abroad.

• Reports in response to regulatory and management agency/body requirements.

• Tax planning, for the purpose of opting for the specific Corporate Income Tax (IRPJ) and Social Contribution on Net Income (CSLL) regime.

• Domestic and foreign private individual tax obligations, such as: Annual Income Tax Return; Disclosing of Assets; Declaration of Definitive Departure from Brazil; and calculating the income tax due, including “carnê-leão” (monthly income tax payments) and capital gains.
