Law No. 15,377/2026 requires companies to provide information on vaccination, HPV, and cancer

The Federal Government sanctioned Law No. 15,377/2026, which amended the Brazilian Labor Code (CLT) by reinforcing the role of companies in promoting workers' health.

The new regulation stipulates that companies must:

• provide their employees with information on official vaccination campaigns, human papillomavirus (HPV), and breast, cervical, and prostate cancers, in accordance with the guidelines and recommendations of the Ministry of Health;
• promote proactive awareness campaigns regarding these diseases and advise their employees on access to diagnostic services;
• inform their employees about the possibility to take up to 3 days off work every 12-month period of employment, without loss of pay, to undergo preventive screenings related to these diseases, provided such screenings are properly documented.

We recommend that companies adjust their internal processes to comply with the new standard, which takes effect upon its publication on April 6, 2026.
