Mandatory PAT registration update

With the publication of MTE Ordinance No. 1,582/2026 and MTE Ordinance No. 1,599/2026, the registration update in the new system of the Brazilian Worker’s Food Program (PAT) became mandatory.

As of September 8, 2026, a 60-day period applies for all beneficiary companies (employers) to register their information on the platform.

Users must access the system exclusively through electronic authentication at the following website: https://novopat.trabalho.gov.br/login.

DPC clarifies that access via electronic power of attorney has not been made available, thereby preventing third parties from completing the registration. Thus, each company is responsible for registering using its own e-CNPJ.

We recommend that this system update be performed as soon as possible. We would like to draw your attention to the need to gather a series of data points to fill out the form, such as:

• company size;
• the employer’s tax status;
• the service provider’s ID number;
• and the type of service offered (for example: meal plan, meal agreement, in-house service, food distribution, prepared meals delivered, or kitchen and cafeteria management).

In addition, we have noticed that the platform has been experiencing instability.

Updating registration information in the new digital environment is essential for the employer to continue having access to the program's benefits.
