Ministry of Labor and Social Security approves changes in Regulatory Standards

Four Regulatory Standards and three annexes were reviewed:

Regulatory Standard No. 05 - Internal Comission for Accident Prevention (Comissão Interna de Prevenção de Acidentes - CIPA)

Ordinance MTP No. 422, of October 7, 2021 (published on the Federal Official Journal on October 8, 2021) approves the new text of Regulatory Standard No. 05 - Internal Commission for Accident Prevention - CIPA.

Regulatory Standard No. 17 - Ergonomics

Ordinance MTP No. 423, of October 7, 2021 (published on the Federal Official Journal on October 8, 2021) approves the new text of Regulatory Standard No. 17 - Ergonomics.

Regulatory Standard No. 19 - Explosives

Ordinance MTP No. 424, of October 7, 2021 (published on the Federal Official Journal on October 8, 2021) approves the new text of Regulatory Standard No. 19 - Explosives.

Regulatory Standard No. 30 - Safety and Health in Waterway Work

Ordinance MTP No. 425, of October 7, 2021 (published on the Federal Official Journal on October 8, 2021) approves the new text of Regulatory Standard No. 30 - Safety and Health in Waterway Work.

Approval of Regulatory Standard No. 9 - Environmental Risk Prevention Programs (Programas de Prevenção de Riscos Ambientais - PPRA) and Amendment to Regulatory Standard No. 15 - Unhealthy Activities and Operations

Ordinance MTP No. 426, of October 7, 2021 (published on the Federal Official Journal on October 8, 2021) approves Annex I - Approves Annex I - Vibration and Annex III - Heat, of Regulatory Standard No. 09 - Assessment and Control of Occupational Exposures and Physical, Chemical and Biological Agents.

Regulatory Standard No. 12 - Occupational Safety in Machines and Equipment

Ordinance MTP No. 427, of October 7, 2021 (published on the Federal Official Journal on October 8, 2021) approves Annex IV (Occupational Exposure to Benzene in Automotive Fuel Dealer Service Stations) of Regulatory Standard No. 20 - Occupational Safety and Health with Flammables and Fuels.

Ordinance MTP No. 428, of October 7, 2021 (published on the Federal Official Journal on October 8, 2021) amends Annex III - Means of Access to Machines and Equipment - of Regulatory Standard No. 12, approved by Ordinance SEPRT No. 916, of July 30, 2019.
