Monitoring of Notifications in the DET and Guidelines on Automatic-Paycheck-Deduction Loans

Two important topics in the labor field have been drawing the attention of employers nowadays:

1. Notifications on the Electronic Labor Domicile (DET)

The Ministry of Labor has increased the use of the DET for official communication with employers. Through the portal det.sit.trabalho.gov.br, notifications are being sent regarding:

• Pending FGTS payments;
• Automatic-pacheck-deducion loans;
• Compliance with the legal hiring quotas for Young Apprentices and People with Disabilities (PwD);
• Other relevant communications.

Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the DET regularly to ensure proper compliance with legal obligations and avoid penalties.

2. Automatic-paycheck-deduction loans

Starting with the payroll for May 2025, companies must apply the deductions related to payroll-deductible loans contracted by their employees, as per the notifications issued through the DET.

To check the amounts to be deducted, the employer must access the Emprega Brasil Portal using their e-CNPJ, where the details of the deductions will be available.

Next, the payroll processing must proceed with the application of the deductions and submission of the required information to eSocial.
