Foreign Capital and Registration at the Central Bank

BACEN Resolution 4.712, of Ma-28-2019 - (DOU, of Apr-01-2019) - Amends Resolution 3.844/2010, which provides for foreign capital in Brazil and its registration with the Central Bank of Brazil, for, among other issues, indicate that the borrower of the external resources, the importer and the lessee are responsible for registering, as the case may be; and also that the registration of contracts for the use or assignment of patents, trademarks or trade, technology supply and other contracts of the same kind, as well as contracts for the provision of technical assistance and franchise services, only must be made after the registration or registration of the contract in the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI).
