Minimum Salary value for 2020
The Provisional Measure 916, published on Dec-31-2019, provides for the national minimum salary amounting to BRL 1,039.00, as of Jan-01-2020.
The new value corresponds to the inflation adjustment, which ended 2019 at 4.1%, according to the National Consumer Price Index (Índice Nacional do Preços ao Consumidor - “INPC”), calculated by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).
