Robotics, Programming and Gamification in Public Schools: DPC multiplies goodwill

Through sponsorship, DPC operates in a value cycle that transforms the reality of children and teenagers through technology and innovation

DPC sponsors an initiative that aims to promote more attractive and interactive teaching that encourages kids to stay in school: the Multiplique o Bem project. Children and teenagers from public schools are included in educational models that involve technology in its structure.

“With this support, DPC contributes to changing the reality of hundreds of students, showing that it is possible to create a new perspective for the future based on technology and innovation, foundations in which the company has been increasingly investing”, assesses Marcelo Gomez, CFO and COO at DPC.

Workshops are offered on programming, robotics, gamification, animation and other technology-related subjects that can change these young people's lives and open doors in the job market.

There are 130 participants in the face-to-face model and 200 in the online format, including people with disabilities. Training involves 200 public school teachers, trained to act as multipliers of the proposal.

More than a one-off action, the project intends to leave a legacy for the community. The school remains with the robotics laboratory and the teachers themselves can continue the project. The action is active for three consecutive years, enabling the consolidation of knowledge.
