Federal Revenue changes DCTFWeb schedule of April / 2019

The Federal Revenue on Apr-22-2019 changed some of the rules of mandatory reporting at the DCTFWeb (Online Statement of Debits and Credits Federal Social Security Tax and Other Entities and Funds) for the 2nd eSocial Group through the publication of RFB Normative Instruction 1884.

Deadline for the Annual Shareholders Meeting and Ordinary General Meeting for accounts approval is April 30

As most of the companies adopt fiscal years that coincide with the fiscal year (beginning on January 1 and ending on December 31 of the same year), the deadline for holding the next Annual Shareholders' Meeting or Ordinary General Meeting will end on April 30, 2019.

Do not miss the new deadline for inclusion of the final beneficiary in the CNPJ

It is worth mentioning that, since July 2017, in addition to entities domiciled abroad, domestic entities are also required to provide information on their final beneficiaries, through the National Collector at registration with the CNPJ. The Normative Instruction 1634/2017, revoked on Dec-28-2018, established the deadline to Dec-31-2018 to update the registrations with the final beneficiary information by the entities enrolled in the CNPJ before Jul-1-2017.

CBE 2019 – Brazilian capital abroad must be informed to the Central Bank

As of February 15, 2019, the period to file the Statement of Brazilian Capitals Abroad (CBE), required annually by the Central Bank of Brazil (Bacen), referring to the base date of December 31, 2018, will begin. Taxpayers may transmit it until 6:00 pm on April 5, 2019.
