Institutions supported by DPC celebrate recognition

Domingues e Pinho Contadores supports institutions that have been successful in their areas of activity. In November, the Fundação Gol de Letra was awarded in the second edition of the Guia Melhores ONGs (Best NGO Guide), while in October, the Observatório Social do Rio received an important certification from the National Public Prosecutor's Council.

Fundação Gol de Letra: one of the 100 best NGOs in Brazil

On November 1, Fundação Gol de Letra was awarded in the second edition of the Guia Melhor ONGs, an initiative of the Instituto Doar and Rede Filantropia. The announcement event took place in São Paulo, at the Museum of Modern Art, at Ibirapuera Park.

In the selection stage, administrative, accounting, financial and communication processes were evaluated to elect the 100 best representatives of the third sector in Brazil among thousands of registered institutions.

The award values institutions that stand out for transparency and good management practices in the proposed area of action, which also represents a stimulus for the continuous improvement of entities and increasing the dissemination of this philanthropic network.

DPC supports the Fundação Gol de Letra through the Cultural Incentive Law - ISS of the city of Rio de Janeiro. In 2018, the project was chosen for the seriousness of its proposal and mission of transforming the reality of children and young people from socially vulnerable communities through sports and education.

Observatório Social do Rio receives certification from the Public Prosecution Service

On October 8, at the Attorney General's Office headquarters, the Observatório Social do Brasil - Rio de Janeiro (OSB-Rio) received the Selo Ação Íntegra (Seal of Action) from the campaign Todos Juntos Contra Corrupção (All Together Against Corruption), conceived by the National Council of the Public Prosecution (CNMP).

The entity was recognized for its activities related to transparency, bidding, monitoring, and transparency of councils, monitoring of legislative power and transportation in the city. In addition to certification, OSB-Rio has been given the opportunity to present its proposal of citizen education, integrity, and social control for potential investors.

"This recognition from CNMP gives us a backing that we are on the right path, as well as making it possible to have greater concreteness and support in our actions. For us, this seal stimulates our activities", said Tatiana Bastos, OSB-Rio’s CEO.

DPC is one of the companies that maintain the institution whose purpose is to propose measures to combat corruption and improve public management, strengthening the culture of transparency and the quality of the application of public resources.
